I loved this car from the moment I saw it, on a back lot of the Ford dealer, just unloaded from the delivery truck, with road dirt and leaves stuck to it, thinking perhaps it was gray, not white. In the market for not only a new car, but a focus for my midlife crisis, it appealed to me on many levels. Plus, it had heated seats.

My husband, Steve, encouraged the purchase, as it would make a "suitable stable mate" for his recently purchased Shelby GT500. After some modifications, however, the stable mate has outrun the Shelby at Englishtown . . . twice. Steve may be regretting the modifications, but we both truly love the cars, and having something positive . . . and very fast . . . to work on, together.

My dad was a lifelong collector of the Wizard of Oz books. Ozma was the princess of Oz. The license plate reflects my enduring love for him, and also, Ozma seemed to suit the car rather nicely.
